The Eislek Gravel Luxembourg Course: A Two-Part Adventure
The Eislek Gravel Luxembourg course: an adventure in two parts
The Eislek Gravel circuit is 46.8 km long and is made up of two parts, the Luxembourg loop and the German loop. This route, to be ridden 1.5 times or 2.5 times depending on the event, will showcase all the qualities of a gravel racer, whether as a climber, rouleur or technician.
The Luxembourg Loop - Emotion and altitude in the heart of Vianden
From the outset, riders are immersed in an atmosphere steeped in history and challenge. Starting in the heart of the town of Vianden, the route begins with a spectacular and immersive cobbled climb, guiding participants up to Vianden Castle, guardian of the site for centuries. The start of the route immediately emphasises the authenticity of the adventure, where history and landscape merge.
Leaving the castle to the right, the route enters the Vianden forest for a gradual climb of around 10 kilometres to the highest point on the route at 510 metres.
The descent that follows alternates between tarmac sections and forest tracks, offering a sensation of speed and freedom. Once along the Our, the route invites you to a fast, fun ride along a winding path back down to Vianden. This 23.5km loop takes you across the finish line for the first time, before starting the German loop.

The German Loop - Pace and Escape in the Undergrowth
Participants set off on the German loop, designed to extend the pleasure of the race with a variety of different terrains and profiles. After a 2-kilometre road climb, this loop offers a completely different experience: the scenery is gentler, the terrain less demanding, and the pace becomes more rolling. Here, the race extends over long gravel sections, where cyclists can pick up speed and enjoy the fluidity of the route, in perfect harmony with nature.
On the way back, the route crosses the border again in the middle of the forest, and participants find a unique atmosphere again as they cycle along the river on a greenway. This passage takes the riders back to the centre of Vianden, before continuing on to the Luxembourg loop.

A course where each segment has its own identity: between demanding climbs, fast descents, dense forests and rolling sections, the Eislek Gravel Luxembourg promises a mix of thrills and a connection with exceptional landscapes.
