Vianden, an iconic medieval town famous for its castle and picturesque streets, is the perfect starting point to explore the Éislek, a Luxembourgish region with enchanting landscapes of forests, valleys, and ridges. The course offers an unforgettable journey, alternating between paths overlooking Vianden and stretches along the majestic Our dam.
The road to the World Championships begins in Vianden
Eislek Gravel Luxembourg, a qualifying round for the 2026 World Championships, embodies the spirit of the UCI Gravel World Series: a timed competition where performance meets camaraderie. Cyclists of all levels will find a unique challenge here, with several passes through Vianden creating a warm and dynamic atmosphere. Spectators can follow the action closely from prime viewpoints and even use the chairlift to reach the castle and see the riders at multiple points.
Starting Friday, June 19, 2026, the festivities begin with bib collection and the partner village. On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Eislek Gravel Experience will welcome gravel enthusiasts who want to discover the region at their own pace, outside the competitive framework of Sunday’s UCI event. Bib collection for Sunday’s races and the partner village will complete the festivities. This friendly space will allow participants to prepare, connect with other enthusiasts, and discover the event’s partner brands.
Organized in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, this event celebrates the values of respect for nature and sporting passion in a European environment with a unique heritage.
